I need a carb recomendation for my ride.
I need a recomendaton for a spreadbore carb for my car. I am setup for a spreadbore so It cant be a squarebore.
79 corvette TH350/355 W/ 3.55:1 gears. Weiand Action Plus intake, Dart 2.02 200cc 76cc heads, Comp Cam Magnum 276, full length headders and 2.5 inch duels with H pipe, B&M Holeshot 2000 converter. What would be a good spreadbore carb to use? I have a couple quadrajets I could rebuild as well.

If you insist on staying spreadbore, stay with a non-cc Q jet. Other companies make spreadbore versions, and there are adapter plates, but they never really got it right.

The Action+ will work with either spreadbore or squarebore. Why do you think you're limited to spreadbore?

because I have a Spreadbore Nitrous Plate and those things are not cheap! Maybe I could check the power adder board and see if someone would trade a square bore for a spread bore injection plate. That is the only thing holding me back. Maybe I could use an adapter plate (i already have one) but them I may run into clearance problems. Could always runs a smaller filter, already have the drop base air cleaner.

The Edelbrock q-jets are decent. The Performer RPM q-jet flows 850 cfm, which is probably a little more than you need. They are pricey, though.
