carb mods

I am switching from a 305 to a 350 crate motor and need to know what changes I need to make to my old cumputor carb. Do I have to change the main jets and what secondary rods and hangers do I need to get? I have a cowl induction hood with hood seal and headers with 3" cat and tailpipes.

You don't say which "crate motor" you're putting in. Assuming its a mild performance
replacement motor with a close to stock cam
and "stock like" dual plane intake, your CC
Q-jet should work fine. Make sure you hook up all those computer sensors and vacumm
lines and the stock O2 sensor on your headers. If you can't reuse your stock 305 intake manifold get one that will allow you to reconnect all the emissions/ computer stuff. (EGR etc). If your new motor is rated at a lot more horsepower than your old
305 you may need to recalibratre the secondary side of that Q-Jet. You can buy the parts (metering rods and hangers) from
Edelbrock. Make sure your fuel pump, fuel lines, filter are up to the job of feeding your new more powerfull motor. Hope this helps.
