rejetting carb..
I am in the process of jetting my Demon to suit my motor and the question i have is .. after i change the jets do i need to reset the idle mixture on the carb? I think i have read that the jets have no effect on the idle mixture but am not 100% sure. The car still idles and runs fine but i want to be sure,and i have been to lazy to hook up a vacuum gauge to see where i am at. Any help is appreciated..Thankx in advance.

Right, jets wont affect the idle as long as the butterflies aren't open enough to expose the transfer slot. On my 750 Speed Demon I had to go down several sizes.

hey greearhr ...how many jet sizes did you go down?I am running a 750 DP on my 355 and am at 70 primary..77 secondary and am curious to see where abouts everyone is jetted at for their engine combo.I have a 10:1 355,afr 195's,xtreme energy 274 cam,stealth intake and 750 DP speed demon with a 4 speed and 3.73's.Thanks for the help so far everyone!!I'm getting there.

My current setup has 67primaries 75 secondaries. I usually tune my carb by reading the plugs.
