DEI has been making stereo stuff for a while. believe Directed is made by DEI. however, i dont think the viper series is out quite yet. check www.sounddomain.com they had a review of this years CES expo (car stereo equipment), should be something mentioning if they are out or when they will be out.

i had one of their comp 12's it sounded great handles power pretty decent. also had a studio series 12 tight bass pretty good.

Directed is DEI, dei stands for directed electronics inc, although i've never really listened to any of their audio products, I am about to install my new DEI alarm, sweet little box
