Stock Delco radio connector

Where can i get a radio wiring connector for my stock delco radio? I'm planning on putting back the stock radio (has the earlier style connector), and I need the connector because the idiot who owned the car before me cut all the wires to rig up his radio without thinking of getting an adapter.

Just go to any good audio shop if they have the adapters they can most likely order the one in the car too.

You want what's commonly called a "reverse harness," the male version that belongs in the car.

Best Buy carries a good selection of these, if there's one in your area. If there's any car stereo shop that can order Metra products, you want the 71-1677-1. (If it starts with 70 instead of 71, it's the WRONG part.)

Also, you could simply cut a harness out of any older GM car at junkyard.

And a GM dealer might stock or order these parts...ask if they have a radio theft-repair kit or something like that.

I never use adapters; I cut, strip, solder, & heat shrink. But, I think I'm the only guy left in the world that does that... I also vote for the junkyard!
