EQ and Head Unit Hook Ups.....lost

Ok i have the new Kenwood KGC-9044 digital graphic EQ and the Kenwood excelon KDC-X911 deck. On the back of the HU I have only 3 pre-outs: Front, Rear, (Non-fade or Sub). Then on the back of the EQ-Unit I have four sets of RCA's. 1 is the Input channel, other 3 are output channels, Rear, Front, (Non-fading). My question is which of the 3 pre-outs on the HU do I plug into the Input channel on the EQ-Unit?

Doesn't matter. They all play the same thing unless you screw with your fader or set the non-fading set as a sub-out with the built in crossover. I'd say use the non-fading set, but it really doesn't make a difference.

But will that mess things up if i try to fade the sound to the front since i have a pretty heavy pounding sub, to be able to hear the highs better?

You only need to use either one of your outputs from the headunit to feed the EQ.
Use the EQ for balance and fade control of all your speakers.

I assume that you either have or plan to get some amps (at least 2) to connect your EQ pre-outs to your speakers.

Yeah I have one amp on my highs, and another on my sub, all my speakers will be on amps.

I know I will only have to use one set of RCA's coming from the HU to the EQ but which one? I plan on running the Front and Rear outputs on the EQ to my Kenwood Excelon amp which has A and B channels which will be pushing 2-6x9's and my 6.5" componet set, the Non-Fading channel off the EQ to the Monster Kenwood Excelon amp which will power my 15" sub .

Like I said.....either output from the H/U will do. Use the EQ as a fader between front and rear speakers
