How to improve q-form kickpanels?
Good thing I got a used set cheap, 'cause I think they look like ****! I guess they're meant to go over top the stock kicks since they don't wrap around into the door jam. But they don't fit to the stock kicks very well either. I'm thinking about fiberglassing the 2 parts together to make 1 kickpanel. Has anyone else done this and/or can give me any tips?

Hi Sharon I also have a set of the 2 piece Q-forms. I do like the imaging that they provide but the fit does leave alittle to be desired especially on the pass. side next to the floorboard. And the little pieces that mount beside the door sill are just plain crap IMO. I scuffed the backside of the Kicks with 80 grit sandpaper and then laid some Fiberglass on the backside. I then laid down some Dynamat and that seemed to fix most of the flexing problems. As for some of the gaps around the floorboard I used Polyfill and stuffed around the edges where the gaps where. As for the those pieces at the door sills. I haven't done anything with them yet but about the only thing that can be done is some fiberglassing and try to mold it into the kicks or build new kicks. Hope this helps.

The previous owner has dynamat on the inside of the qforms already. I might add some more behind the stock kicks. Thanks for the advice!
