are kicker amps 1 ohm stable?

i want to wire my 3 subs in parallel and since they are 4 ohm single voice coil subs, that should give me 1.3 ohms.... and my friend told me that kicker amps rock and they can handle that low ohm level... is that true? thanx!

Car: 85 IROC-Z / 88 GTA
Engine: 403 LSx (Pending) / 355 Tuned Port
Transmission: T56 Magnum (Pending) / T5
Axle/Gears: 3.42 / ?
1.3 ohm bridged load gives a .65 ohm load to each amp channel. That's virtually a direct short. I'd say it's probably not wise.

Don'r run the ZR amps to a 1 ohm load, but our XS50 and XS100's do run into a 1 ohm load fine.

kicker amps nut running 1 ohm mono? Our 2 ZR1000's in our demo car seem to handle to load just fine all day long. Granted the impulse series can't and the XS are high current "cheater" amps meant to play extremely low loads, but the ZR's do just fine.

rated to, and may be able to handle are sometimes two different things.

When Kicker says a ZR amp can go 2 ohm mono, I take that to mean that I can beat the crap out of it at 2 ohms, all day long with no ill effects. Sure, it may be able to do 1ohm for a time, but for how long ??
