Almost Decided
Almost decided what I want to put in my car just want to see what you guys think.
Ok
4x6’s and 6x9’s in the factory locations. Two or Three ways. Not sure what brand. Any ideas? I would also like to get a set of Boston Acoustics Components in a set of DJSexays kick panels. Not sure what amp to use maybe a 800x4. What you guys think?
In the trunk I want either 2 12in or 3 10in Kicker Solo Baric‘s. Ideas?
Not sure what amp for these either. 800x2?
Most likely using Rockford Punch X crossover.
Most likely going with a DEH-P6300 Pioneer head. Good? Bad?
Do I need a equalizer? Is it worth the money? Any brands or models suggestions?
And last. Will I need a capacitor with this setup?
Thanks A lot . Bobby.

If you get the kick panels with the comp. set then dont' get the 4x6's. Also, have you heard a solobaric? At Pro - Audo they did a bass test for me to listen 2. They have 1 Kicker Solobaric against 2 15" Kicker Competitions. The 1 12" Solobaric did just as well at the 2 15"s. So I'd either go with 1 or 2 12"s. As far as amps. I have no idea.

I agree, just go with the kicks. You can just leave the dash spots empty, or just disconnect the speakers if you want. I'll probably put my crossovers for my components there, because I already have my wire running there from my amp, and I dont want to have to run more wire all the way from the back. Also I think an 800x4 for your mids/highs is a little overkill. 50 good watts RMS for each speaker is enough for most people, you may want more though depending on your tastes. Maybe a 600.4?

Putting the Componet Crossorvers in the slots is a good idea. So you think 600x4 would be good.
Any one else have ideas?
How bout an equlizer and capsator?
