Ok i have 2 12W3-D2 JL's as mentioned in the title.. Right now my amp isnt near as strong enough for the subs and they are distorting so before i ruin them its time to buy a new amp.. Im going to wire it in paralell which im pretty sure gives me a 2 ohm load (if someone wants to double check that for me)..the subs are rated at 250w RMS each.. but as ive heard JL's handle more than what they are rated at.. so basically what im looking for is a mono 1 channel amp which will give me somewhere around 700-800 RMS @ 2 ohms.. if you recommend and amp please let me know what the specs on it are.. Im looking for a good brand amp.. kicker, rockford, MTX, PPI, soundstream, zapco etc. thanks!

ok i posted this topic maybe an hour ago and before a reply I think i've answered my own question.. this happens to be cheap as HELL for this amp considering thezeb wants 437$ for it and crutchfield wants 700$.. though its really powerful! its the rockford BD1000.1 amp.. rated at 1000x1 @ 2ohms.. ebay dutch sale.. http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI...tem=1247008197

opinions anyone? is this too much power?
