What Amp do I need to push 2 12" Sq. L7 Kicker Solo Barics?? w/n

I have just bought 2 Kicker 12" L7 Solo Barics.

I have a Kicker ZR 120 and a Kicker ZR 240.
Will the 240 push them or do I need a 600 or something??

Thanks

If you want to drive them to their potential, then yes, you need to get the ZR 600. Also, if you want the most bang for your buck, you'd better make sure that your box is built to the correct specs for those subs.

Joey,
A ZR240 will power them, but not the way you'd like. Find a good used ZR600 or DX700 and that will give the L7's the power they need. If you need box recommendations, email Aaron or Jerimy at support@kicker.com

The good thing about our amps is you will be able to daisy chain the connections from the ZR120 to the DX or ZR600,without the need of running additional lines from the front.
Add the RGX, and you'll be set.

Good luck!

Just for the record, I think one L7 12 can use way more than a DX700. I have one 12" L7 being powered by a DX700, and it begs for more than the 700 can give it! I love the sub, and I love the amp, I just wish the amp was bigger! The amp shuts down when I start getting some power to the sub.

Working on:
'84 Z28 LG4 305 with 200,000 original miles!
Added dual elec fans.
145 MPH IROC Speedo
Building 430 HP 350 (ZZ430)
using primarily GMPP parts.
Short block sitting on a stand. (Man, those Fast-Burn heads look good, (just sitting there doing nothing!LOL))

Starting to look like the Kicker poster child!
