Would lexan work in the hatch?
I don't know a whole lot about stereos and stuff, but I was thinking of making a piece to go across that spot in the back where some cars came with a lid. You know, that deep spot. I found some large sheets of lexan in my dad's shed, and I was wondering if this would be good for putting a couple of 10s or 12s in. Would it vibrate too much? It's at least 1/4 inch thick.

Do you mean to actually mount the subs in? If so, it needs to be at least 1/2" thick, preferably 3/4" to a full inch even.
If you mean just a grill or cover, than 1/4" is fine if you give it a strong wooden frame to keep it stiff.
