What amp to power 3 10's..?????
I dont know much about amps but I want to run 1 amp to run my 3 mtx 6000 10's. I want a good quality amp that will put out 500-750 rms watts. Money is not that much of an issue but I dont want to spend more than 900. Oh and if you wanted to know they are 4 ohm subs. Thanks

Don't want to spend over $900? You can forget about powering them then.......Just kidding. You can get anything you want! I personally would go with one of Audiobahns monoblock amps. They can put out tremendous power at low ohms and are built specifically for that. Go to www.soundhabit.com and look at their Audiobahn amps. MMATS also makes a nice amp, but they may be out of your price range. US Amps make amazing amps that will bake anything you can put behind them. Those are just a couple of the brands I would suggest. Most people have never heard of them, but if you are brave enough to venture past the big names like Rockford and Kenwood, you will find what all the hardcore audiophiles are buying up. Just my $.02

I am a huge Memphis fan. They make some very good Class D monoblock amps that pack a huge punch. My 1000D puts out 1100watts at 1ohm. They also make one that puts out 1500watts at 2 ohms. I'm not sure how much that one goes for, but the 1000D is about $700.
Like what was said before, when you start getting past the typical Rockford, Kicker, etc, you will see alot more items that will really kick some butt. Good luck

Memphis Car Audio has some amps that are 1 ohm stable also. Both Memphis and Auto Tek are very good amps. It comes back to what was said before. You are probably going to want to go past alot of the big name brands. Not that they don't make good products, but you will find more equipment designed for competitions and stuff like that if you get past them. Amps that are designed to handle what you are talking about.
I would suggest finding a high end dealer around your area for products like Memphis or Auto Tek and talk to them. Many of those guys do this stuff on a regular basis and could probably hook you up with what you want. You can look for dealers on Memphis' website: www.memphiscaraudio.com I don't know what Auto Tek's url is. By the way, why do you only want one amp? Just curious.

Here is some links.
Sorry should have included them the first time.
The last one has some really great prices on all lines.

Ummm Dallas, where do you get your info? You got a lot of experience in competetion car audio, or do you just read a lot of advertisements? You are absolutely nuts saying to stay away from US Amps. They are only the premier builder of high wattage sub amps on the market. They aren't cheap though. When you say, you've got the money, stay away from US amps or audiobahn, it shows that you have no idea what you're talking about. Those two companies make amps that go into the thousands of dollars, if you want to go that route.
Let me guess, you would go with a Rockford Punch amp, right? Not to knock them, but they don't hold a candle to Some of the high dollar monoblock amps from Audiobahn and US Amps.
Not to flame anyone here, but don't knock it till you try it.

I wish I knew how to edit a post.
Dallas, you are right on the money about the Autotek stuff. I should have read further down the page. All good suggestions except the staying away from Audiobahn and US Amps. If you get in touch with the right people at US Amps, they will custom tailor an amp to your needs, they just have good quality products and service, and I hate to see a company like that get knocked just because they aren't big name.

I absolutely hate PUNCH!!!
The last one I owned was a PUNCH 45 if that can tell you how long it has been.
I do not like audiobahn at all, I do not have much experience with them. BUT! Here in Dallas it is what most Bazars try to push on you. I have a couple of friends that run it and it is a LOUD series, now as for quality, I dont like it at all...
As for the U.S. Amps, if you are looking for a decent made in USA amplifier for a good price then get at it, BUT again, if you are going to spend in excess of say $700.00 there are better amps out there.
I personally run soundstream, ppi, phoenix gold in my cars.
I have also ran and was pleased with both AutoTek and Orion.
