Empty Bass Tube

Does anyone make an empty bass tube???

You can make one out of the carboard tube that home carpet comes rolled on. Go to your local flooring store and ask them if they have a tube in the diameter you want. You'll have to make endcaps out of MDF and carpet it yourself. This project would be cheaper than any you could buy and should be just as good.

You can also use the cardboard forms (available in bigger sizes) that are used to make cement columns. I'm not sure where to find these.


BTW both of these cardboard tubes are really strong and more like MDF than regular cardboard.
