What 4x6,6x9 amp combo to get?

I've decided not to get componets in kick pannels, because they cost to much, and i don't want to spend alot on my stereo, because in a year and a half, i'm getting a new Trans am. Which 4x6's and 6x9's do you recomend,i know everyone ask, but i need to know, because i plan on going out and listening and buying them this weekend, i know i need to listen to them, and figure out which ones i like, but i need to know what names are good and don't warp or blow, when you put alittle bit of power into them, also what 4 channel amp should i use to power them with, i forsure need to power them with an amp, because i'm getting 3 JL 12w6's, and an alipine 1500 watt V12, so i need to have the highs and mids, keep up with the lows. haha, i said i don't want to spend alot of money, on a system, haha(3 JL 12w6's) any infomation will help, thanks.

Go with the infinity kappa series for your speakers. Get the 4x6 plate speaker and the 3 way 6x9. I love the sound of these speakers better than any others I've heard.

Well the first question is how much money? mcconahay37 has a good recommendation if you don't mind spending about $300.00. The Infinity speakers sound good and have excellent mid and high's but they lack in the low end dept. just a little and require some power to get the good sound quaility they were built to provide. I recommend atleast 50watts per channel. If you have Subs this is the way to go. If you don't want to spend that much I would look into some speakers that will play a little lower.

Well, if oyu plan on getting a new trans-am, I'd say that is a reason to get a 6 1/2" component set in kickpanels. The 4th gen cars take 6 1/2" separates. You would be ditching the 4x6's and 6x9's.

I know where you can get decent kicks at a good price !
