Pioneer Head Unit with a Kenwood CD Changer??
When I bought my '91 Z28, the previous owner had already put in a crappy kenwood head unit, some crappy subs, and a kenwood 10 disc cd changer. i've had my eye on a pioneer head unit for a while now (one with a cd changer control), but i really like the 10 disc changer. will the pioneer head unit work with the kenwood changer, or do i have to get a kenwood head unit or just get rid of the changer?

If it is a FM modulated CD Changer they'll definetly work together. The plugs on the add on Pioneer and add one kenwood are different than each other. I nover seen a adapter cable for them, so i severly doubt it.

kenwood makes some pretty good head units, so if you can find a kenwood that is compatible the changer, keep the changer

i'll second camp3ro's opinion.. + i'm a kenwood guy go w/ the changer you already have and getta kenwood head unit.. if you feel like spending a lil more for the head unit get the excelon series, IMO well worth it
