I was curious as to the same thing.... I'll be installing two 10's in my T/A ragtop... just not sure about where. I don't really want them in the trunk, so I was thinking about some sort of low-rise box to fit on top of the folded down rear seat. Or perhaps removing the rear seat altogether and building something from the floor up. I'd have to be sure that sort of thing would be a reversible process, tho.. I don't want any permanent alterations that could harm the value of the car.

ok...so no one has a system of 12" in a convertable.....I am gonna need to do this from scratch......lets see teh top fold down to where people normaly make their amp racks and I don't want to put it in rear seats......I am gonna use two Alpine Type R speakers with two Alpine 300 watts RMS amp for each sup and my current 4 channel for the mains.....Maybe I can stack the amps ontop of each other? Or put them on the floor under the subs and create air ducts with fans to pull around down there......You people with two 12s in your hatch how much space is under your subs? ....I wll look into this more....i always wanted a two 10" when i had the coupe but now i want two 12" for the convertable.

got it...I know what i am doing......

I will build a box for the well and put is as deep down as possable to save space then in between the subs will go my main speakers amp...then mounted up under the trunk lid will be the two Alpine MRV-T575 apms......300 RMS each with a 750 peak......
