1990 factory CD

Hi, I have a chance to buy a 1990 Delco factory CD player for $25 bucks but the CD player will not take the disc inside when you try to insert it. The radio and everything else works fine. Is this something that could be fixed? Is there anywhere to order new CD drives for these old stereos?

CD drive can be repaired, or a replacement can be ordered from M&R electronics for about $175
