delema- please help

Well ill start off from the beginning. I bought a couple MTX 15' thunder 6000s for my 79' coevette a while ago, which i know is huge overkill because i had a 10" Cerwin Vega Vega series (300 rms, 600 peak) powered by a Sh!tty jensen amp. the amp was putting 150 watts to the sub but because the sub was right behind you and the rear window being alot like a thirdgens it would hurt our heads if i turnd the level on the amp up. any case the vette is taking a while to restore, so i decided i would make good use of the 15s and drop em in the TA. only thing is the install guy said the 15s will create massive bass, but wouldnt sound as good as 12s, and from everything i have read i believe him. if i were to get 12s it would be the eclipse aluminum 12s. only thing is there $400 bucks a sub and then i gotta get a stronger amp. i am using an Alpine MRV-F307 (briged 240x2) for the 15 mtx (300 rms). my questions are 1) can i get a decen amp setup to power the eclipses for under $600? i want it to run 400x2 if i can. 2)should i ride with the 15s for a while, then later on get the 12s and sell the amp/subs/box to another 3rdgen owner? 3)if i could sell the complete set how much could i get? 4)as of now the amp and subs are not installed and have never been fired... how much could i sell em for now- so i can justify spending that much on 12s. and 5) i know MTX makes good amps but they seem pretty expensive. i saw an infinity amp for a price i liked (forgot which) i know perfects sound great but turn to crap, as do thier 4x6s, is infinity a brand amp i should go with? sorry to make this so long but i need to know how much i need to spend. i would like to keep it under $3000, but if i cant, its no huge biggy, i cant go over $4000 though.

oh yea, i am doing the whole system right down to the 4x6s. im thinking eclipse or alpine face, some tweets installed in the dash, MBQuart 6x9s and ill probably amp the 6x9 and 5.25 (4x6 position) with the alipne unless there is a better way, and im haveing a place do it all cuz i dont wana screw anything up. so all this (maybe an EQ) under $3000.... the guy said i could get a $460 eclipse face, the tweets in the dash, fronts and rears all top of the line have the 15s installed with a box, and hook everything up for $1644.12 i think it was.

thanks wild, but i would rather have 2 12"s or 2 15"s, plus i think 3 10"s would cost more than 2 12"s

I have 2 infinity perfects for about 3 months now and have not had a problem. The Infinity amp you are talking about it the digital 300. I have that powering my 12s. They sound so nice together. and I got the amp for $400. But I don't think crutchfeild sells them any more.

i have heard from everyone that has owned a pair of 12" perfects "Dont buy em, they turn to crap!" and i asked a guy at a local car audio place and he said that on that day 3 people had come in to get em replaced or return them. he explained to me that the whole surround come loose and just rips right off the cone. they sound great but i have heard too many negative things about them. not to say your are bad, they may have fixed it by now.
