Well IMO CDT sounds better. I think they are more accurate, smoother, and have the least noticable tweeter to mid x-over. Then again I'm not you and I don't know what you look for in a speaker. The only way to find out is to listen to some yourself. Go to CDT's website to find a dealer near you.

I have never used Boston Acoustics, while I currently have CDT classic speakers currently installed. So all I can really say is that I am very pleased with CDT Audio, and that they make excellent speakers. They are a neutral speaker (as opposed to harsh or mellow), meaning that they play music the way it was recorded and meant to be heard. You should try to listen to both side by side to make a valid comparison. On their site, they say email info@cdtaudio.com to find the nearest dealer. Maybe you could try that.

for all the people that have CDT, i hear most people go with the classical component, is the HD "perfect phase" overkill? or is it worth the money? All the reviews give it great reviews, but can you really tell a big difference from the classical component? thanks.

I haven't heard any CDT's but had some Boston Pros 6.5 components and I loved them! Tho they were expensive I don't think I've heard anything else close to the seamless blend between the mid and tweet. As mike said you just have to hear with your own ears and pick what you like.
