I am sooooooooo excited..w/n

This really isn't tech post but more of an update as to how my system is doing. I dropped my car off at the stereo shop this morning at 8am sharp. The General Manager there who I have been dealing w/ almost crapped his pants when he saw my interior. B/c I put in the black carpet and Dynomatted the entire car. It looks really good, that's all I can say. When he saw my component speakers he almost crapped his pants a second time b/c he knows how good those speakers are.
Here is a list of what I will be running in my car; this will be a show car from the inside to the outside and down to the stereo system. I am registered w/ IASCA and will be killing everyone there in the Amatuer category so look for me there.
Here it goes:
1) 2 Aura 4150Q 600 watt RMS amps. They will be bridged out to run at 330x2 watts RMS, peak power don't know: it never said, I guess they only care about RMS which is good
2) 4 Rockford Fosgate HE2 12" DVC 400watt RMS power, 800watt peak subwoofers in a custom sealed box that will have 2 subs firing at the hatch glass and 2 firing at the driver and passenger and they will be completely consealed w/ speakers covers
3) Rockford Fosgate Fanatic Q component speakers to be installed in custom made kick panels that have a 100watt RMS power and 200watt peak power.
4) I will keep the Clarion CD deck which is a DRXQ6475Z (I think, hard to remember off the to of my head) model at 40x4.
5) Some 4 way 6x9's that I picked up at the Flea Market that are just killer.
6) Finally to run all of my highs I purshaced a Rockford Fosgate Power 600A4 amplifier.

I will be running a continuous 1320watts RMS from the subs alone. That is CRAZY!!! I will get the car back at the earliest by Thursday. I hope everything goes well and will be just f*ckin killer. Talk to you all later. IASCA here I come.

Where are you purchasinig your high output alternator and battery from, and how much will it be? Your stock charging system won't be able to handle that much power, unless you don't ever use your lights or a/c or heater..

Well I have an answer to both of your questions. My alternator died about 2 months ago and they no longer made a 90 amp alternator so all I was able to find to replace it was w/ a 110 amp alternator plus I've got one of those new model line Die Hard batteries so I should be set. Thank God that I have a digital camera so I don't have to wait for film developing and all that crap. I'll keep ya guys posted.

110 amps? I think you'll need like a 160 amp or better.

That 110 amp alternator won't last 20 minutes. You better seriously consider a much higher amperage unit. Those flea market 6x9s are gonna need a lot of power

Jim, is there any place online that I can order a H/O Alternator? i've found 140 amp ones, but I'm pretty sure I want at least 150 at idle. i'm leaning towards a stinger alternator..

150 amps at idle is gonna be tough. Most alts put out around half at idle.

all i can say is, POST SOME PICS!!!!!

i cant wait to see some of these pics, hope u spent about half your install costs on wires and connecting materials. cuz yer gonna need some 1 or 2 guage wires for those amps. also, dont buy an optima yellow cap battery unless it will be used as a secondary. but it sounds like yer gonna go with a die hard. about the alternator, i think 140 is as high as ive seen, but maybe u can get one custom made, since they just rebuild them anyway.

Well here is some updates on my system. It will be done tomorrow and I had to order a Yellow top Optima battery to run my system b/c those Aura amps just draw sooooo much current that I have to get one. I was also watching them build the box for this system. It is going to be crazy!!!!! The initial plan of having 2 subs firing at the hatch window and two at the seats is being thrown out the window. They said I have enough space where the seats were to have all 4 12's fire downwards so they would hit harder. He is still estimating about a mid 150's SPL. Keep ya guys posted
