Infinity perfect 12.1
I'm goin out and picking up 2 of these pretty soon, just want to make sure of a couple things.. I am buying the qlogic box for dual 12's for a firebird, the specs say .85 cu ft per side, the subs should work good with this as long as I have correct polyfill, right? and also, do I need to worry about these subs blowing the box apart? I'm only putting the RMS power to them (350 watts) but I certainly don't want to have to buy 2 boxes because these subs are monsters... If I sprayed rubberized undercar stuff, would that help out the box much? Or would that make it sound worse?
Thanks...
Thanks...

Watch out for these subs my roomate went through two pairs of these subs. The rubber surround was comming off. Infinity said that they had problems with the glue comming undone.Make sure you can return them if this happens to you.

I don't recommend Infinity products at all anymore.
While they sound nice, consider this. I had 1 1/2 year old Kappa 6x9s that the cones WARPED on (still sounded ok), and 2 month old Infinity RS 4x6s (the new design), and the cones were CRACKED. These speakers were not pushed hard...Infinity just can't seem to make a damn cone anymore. And I am not the only one who has had Kappas warp. I bet through time, you'll see some angry new Infinity RS owners on here too.
And this comes from a big fan of Infinity. I have a pair of Infinity RS 625 towers that are 5 years old and are the best damn speakers I've heard under $1,000. I highly recommend their home equipment...but their car stuff? Forget it....
