Kicker amps and twisted pair cables

I just wnat some opinions on a couple things.

I have a single Kicker Solobaric S12L7 in a 1.1 cu. ft. box and I'm getting a Kicker DX700 amp to power it. Anyine else try this in a thirdgen? I know it should be awesome, just want to hear other opinions before I get it all going! Also, if anyone else is running a similar setup, did you need a Stiffening Capacitor? I plan to wait until I get it fired up to make the decision, but if someone knows for sure..... The shop I'm buying from doesn't know yet either!

Also, what about twisted pair RCA cables? I know from my computer experience that TP is the way to go for noise rejection, but I I'm using my first set of TP cables in a car soon. The reason for my questioning is the cost. The Stinger TP cables are cheap as hell!

BTW.....Yes, my car will look like a Kicker poster child!

Is that the only amp you are running? I had to install a 1F cap, new alternator (105 amp) and battery on my setup (See signature). I'm also experiencing my Solo-Baric subs blowing for no apparent reason.
Hope this helps!

No, not the only amp I'm running (It's a mono sub amp) but I don't know what I'm gonna use for the mids & highs yet. I have a couple old Kicker 40SS's that I think I might use for now.

WOW! The dealer that I deal with told me that they haven't seen a blown Solo that has been installed properly. Don't take that as me saying your's isn't installed properly, though.

Well, I wasnt sure you didnt mention any other amps thats why I ask.
No, my system is installed correctly thats for sure. As a matter of fact, I've done three other installs for my sons friends lately and they have no problems whatsoever. I had three audio stores check the install in my car and they cant find anything wrong with the install and cant figure it our either.
Later

Couple of things I forgot to mention.
The "A" stock speaker I bought that blew and I sent in was replaced with a "B" stock speaker. Just because one audio store rep tells you something doesnt mean its factual.

I'm just providing you with info on a real life experience. Sorry if I burst your bubble! And I intend to stay with Kicker.
