Right side speakers dont work.
I have a stock Delco Radio Part # 16161615 and both the front and rear Right side speakers dont work anymore. Did the right side Channel system blow in the radio unit? If so can a radio shop refurbish the radio to make it work properly again?

Have you checked the speakers to ensure they still work?

Yes. When I play the radio the right side sometimes gets static. I switched the rear speakers and it works so its not the speaker. Its either the right side Channel to the radio or both right side wires. I was hoping someone on here had a similar problem and fixed it

If you can disconnect the wire to the speaker from the radio, then hook up a AA battery..
Listen to hear a "click".... Be sure it's quiet surroundings, because if the speakers have a cap for crossover, it may only slick once, then real quietly...
If it makes noise, your wires are good.
Other problem with older radios... Also, if it makes a lot of noise when you turn up / down volume.... Dirt gets in the contacts for the volume, balance...
Radio Shack sells tuner cleaner spray... works great if that is the problem...

My car has the same problem but with both rear speakers. Me and my friend took out the radio and found out tht there is a short in the harness tht hooks up to the stereo. If u look it up u can buy them for like 10 bucks I just decided to replace my radio because it didn't hav an aux cord hook up

So it sounds like it could be dirty contacts and/or bad wire to the harness. Will inspect and let you know.

Re: Right side speakers dont work.
Check this plug,it's behind the radio.
For some reason one of the 3 plugs became loose and I lost my left side front speaker.Apparently their is a plug for each side,I have 3 because I have the UQ7 Sound System.
