Repair OEM Stereo Backlight

So, I searched the tech manuals and searched the message boards... It must be here somewhere...

Has anybody repaired the backlights in a stock Delco radio? If soldering will be involved, I'll wait till a few more burn out, but I'd like to know what it takes before I take everything apart. Thanks

Re: Repair OEM Stereo Backlight

Im actually in the process of putting in the stock radio that my car came with. I have 2 OEM delco radios. One is the regular AM/FM/Cassette. The other is the AM/FM/Cassette with equalizer. Both of them have a light out that has to be soldered in.
