Grundig CL 2200

Can I replace the existing factory Delco unit with a Grundig CL 2200 unit on my '88 Firebird ?
Is it a direct swap, and can I use the original ( Bose?) speakers..??
Btw, it says 1,8 DIN on the box...!

Re: Grundig CL 2200

the info I see for that one online is that its a double din radio. since our cars are 1 1/2 din, that will not fit witout a bit of cutting and modding to the bezel and mounting.

Re: Grundig CL 2200

Thanks.
Again, I have bought the Grundig already, and it says 1,8 DIN on the box.
(It also says it's a direct swap for Ford cars....)
I will try if it fits later this year, first all sorts of other items to fix...!
