Q-Form Kick Panels?

Re: Q-Form Kick Panels?
But I thought the were flimsy and not made very well. What I hated was, instead of wrapping around the door jam like the factory ones. They were straight, and you put this strip of plastic over the edge to hide it.
Plus the speaker grill that they came with always popped off. I was always finding those next to the car in the parking lot.
I don't know how much they cost now, but back then they were expensive. It's worth it having some fiberglass ones made using your stock kick piece.

Re: Q-Form Kick Panels?
The only real complaint I have with mine is how far the intrude into the foot space. I have a 5-speed and there is nowhere for me to put my foot next to the clutch pedal. I've had them for 10+ years though, so they may be better designed by now...

as cast, they're a bit lightweight and too flimsy. however, with a couple layers of fiberglass and some sound deadener, they're 100x better and look much more "stock" than anything I had the ability to do.

Thank you, and the others, for the replies. There is a new set cheap enough on an auction site that I might try and snag. Thanks for the tip about lining the inside with deadener. I have some left over from another car - hopefully that'll stiffen them up enough to get by.

Al and Dan are right on the money with their comments.
Used to have a set and found them very good but gave up some leg room.
