HOW MUCH DYNAMAT DO NEED???
So I go over to Best Buy tonite to get some wire and dynamat...talk about sticker shock!!! Best Buy gets $89 for 12 sq ft of the stuff! Based on my estimate, I need at least 60+ sq ft to cover the full floor and cargo well. That's just measuring length and width of car. I've done some searching and found the stuff online for a lot cheaper...$139 for 36 sq ft. Is 72 sq ft enough to cover the interior or will I need more? I'm already up to almost a grand with the interior swap, I don't have another 5-800 for a stereo system rite now, but I really hate the idea of putting the interior together and taking it apart later. I don't mind removing the door panels later to put the dynamat in, but I really wanna do the rest of it before I put the carpet back in.

I have used both and prefer Dynamat. Try it at http://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/se...FRSfnAodh1zQJw

That's what i'm in the middle of putting down right now. Same thing as dynamat/fatmat but cheap. I bought two rolls of 40' and I should probably have about half a roll left after doing my floor and cargo, might do the doors then.
I've heard good things about it, and for the price, it wins in my book

Re: HOW MUCH DYNAMAT DO NEED???
I used about 50sqft of fatmat which covered the entire rear floor, 90% of the front floor and behind the rear speakers. I also had Ziebart undercoating sprayed, and literally it made the biggest difference! It is quieter than my 04 silverado, and 07 HHR. One of the ebay 100sq ft kits of fatmat would easily cover the entire quarter panels, inside door skins and the whole floor.

Entire car will take about 100 sq.ft.
I prefer Dynamat Xtreme. You get what you pay for. Second Skin is also an excellent product.
