my beater 86
This fall I tossed a little 10" I had kicking around into my 86 Camaro, fits perfectly were the spare tire goes, pleased with the turn out, come spring i only need to replace the head unit and run the Bass controler to the front.
Nothing crazy fancy at all, nice small but still sounds good, I used some spare KenWood 6x9's and Clarion 4x6 Dash speakers in stock locations to compliment the sub, everything was spare parts I had kicking around except the sub box. The deck that was in it is an old Sony that has seen better days, the volume bottons are no longer working properly and the CD doesnt play anymore, so need to upgrade that next year.
P.S. Of the product, MB Quart, specialy the older stuff like this sub, before they got bought out, are good, but the PowerBase amp SUX, never buy one, total waist of $$
P.S.S. Yes car needs a good vacuming, and yes my phone camera sux, lol

Re: my beater 86
How do you like the sound from it? Ever since I deleted my spare tire, I've been contemplating what I could put there. First thought was a NOS bottle but I've decided to go the procharged route instead, so the next obvious item is a sub.
Things that interest me about putting a sub there is the fact that It's concealed and would make a great space for one. On the other hand I'm concerned about the sound quality of it being in that area and whether or not it would result in ridiculous amounts of body rattle.
I don't have anything too radical in mind. Just a good 10" boxed design will suffice.

This is the exact box, I just flipped it upside down so the thin end was facing down then bolted it in, the air volume matched my MB Quart sub perfectly

I was surprised, it doesnt sound to bad, I did spray everything with rubber guard too so that might of helped
