Reattach Subwoofer ..cover?
Got this subwoofer with a rattle, got on discount
Gladly enough I traced the rattle to a piece of plastic cover..ripped that ish off.
Sounds clean again, except it looks funny.
How would I firmly reattach it?
I thought superglue, but I wanna know other adhesives that would suppress rattling again.

yeah my sonys are a HUGE improvment. i would try and find a very good glue, maybe gorilla glue, since those are going to be moving..the little those do move lol. but i would try gorilla glue. very strong stuff. i used it on my arm rests and its holding great

one of my buddys has those subs he hot like two 12s and a box and a 1000 watt amp on sale at pepboys and they hit super hard for el cheapo supremes. both have cracks in them and the sound hasent changed at all im suprised on how well theyve held up.
the only thing i could think of you could use is maby some silicone? as its semi flexable and wont just fall off when the subs vibrate

best bet would be an epoxy, just make sure you use it sparingly and dont get it in the voice coil. just make sure to give it enough time to cure before playing again

in my opinion youre SOL, nothing is going to hold up to the vibrations of the bass and on top of that there will be an air leak, plus if you start to max the excursion of it youre going to flex the cone and that guy will pop off again, theyd make for good paperweights or a fridge magnet at this point
