Q LOGIC BOX?
I have the chance to get a real good deal on a Qlogig box for 2 12s but i was wondering if its a box or just the top part and uses the cargo space as the box? Here is the pics that he sent me and claims thats all he has. Is that it or is he missing pieces besides the speaker covers. Thanks

Re: Q LOGIC BOX?
IIRC, these were supposed to be complete boxes with that trim panel on top to better blend in with the rest of the interior plastics. if the price is nice, it may be worth snagging just for a beauty cover for a diy box

Re: Q LOGIC BOX?
What you have pictured there is just the top - normally it's an entire sealed box. Brand new, the entire sealed enclosure sells for $269, so you be the judge. You'd have to take that and make an enclosure bottom for it. It's also missing the grill covers that were specially shaped into that teardrop shape - might be able to get those seperately from Q Logic. You can see them on ebay:

Re: Q LOGIC BOX?
camaronewbie is correct. There should be a complete sealed box.
Also, that top is for a 4th gen car. It may not fit flush in your car as 4th gen panels are more rounded.
Personally, I would pass and build a proper box for the subs you buy.

Re: Q LOGIC BOX?
The q-logic box was originally designed to fit flush with a 4th gen hatch. Q-logic took the 4th gen design, smoothed out the top and reduced the angle.
If you compare both you'll see.
4th gen box.

You'll notice that Q-logic 3rd gen boxes do not fit flush on the sides and reduce how much you can open the glove box. This is because q-logic got lazy in their design to meet requests for them to make a 3rd gen box (trying to cash in).
It is simply a bad 3rd gen design. The flat boxes work much better and are made specifically for our cars.
I spoke to an executive fromq-logic last year at a show who basically said as much (but in a nicer way).
