iBus Cable for Pioneer Headunits.
My current headunit (DEH-1000) doesnt have an aux unit so im swapping it for the one in my dad's truck (DEH-P5900IB) which does have an aux unit. I believe its on the back though.

Now on the website it says it supports "iBus" which charges your iPod and plays music through the headunit ect... But I need a cable (CD-1200), and dont know where to go for this.
Would Radio Shack or Best Buy sell these kind of cables? Or would I better of using the AUX unit in the back? Thanks

Here's the information on both, the CD-1200 and aux in.
-With the CD-1200 cable, you will be able to search/play music in your itouch through the deck. But this cable will not charge your itouch unless you get an firewire power adapter because it was design prior to Apple USB charging standard.
-With the AUX input, you will have to navigate with your itouch to play music. This is like a universal adapter sorta speak.
You can buy the cable here:

Re: iBus Cable for Pioneer Headunits.
Well I just bought a car mount for my iTouch and was planning on navigating on the actual iPod anyway but I might like using the remote and all. I havent checked but does anyone know if there is a regular aux input on the back of this headunit? One where I could just run an aux cable from the back into my iPod? That should do for now

Not sure what you mean by "regular" but it has a 3.5mm jack in the rear for the aux input. Here's the link for the install wiring if you are looking for a diagram.

well yeah that what i consider "regular" lol
its the only type of aux input I know of. Im not that big on audio but I know a little bit. As long as it has the AUX jack in the back Ill be good.
Thanks for that link by the way.
