Intalling aftermarket deck

Hey guys, new here. I have a 1992 Camaro RS and im just about to put in my stereo system which just needs a deck wired up and my sub and amp. Now my question is, How in the world to get my deck to fit in where the stock one was? Do i need an adapter kit? If so, where do i get one from? And if not, what do i do?

Re: Intalling aftermarket deck

Yes you need a installation kit, you can get them at a local car audio store like mickey shorr or car tunes. If not most auto places carry them too like murrays or auto zone. Can even get cheap ones from a department store like majier. After you get that its rather simple just unscrew the plastic trim pieces around the stock radio 2 screws hold it in then place your aftermarket deck in the installation kit and install it back in your car. While your at the store you should pick up the wiring harness for the car as well, it will make the wiring much easier to install. Good Luck!
