New Sub Box
Built it myself over the past couple of days. It needs some carpet and tweaking but I'm happy with it. Now I just have to find someplace to put my amp.

Re: New Sub Box
It is mounted on a box that is where that little storage space is, I cut that out and build the box to slip in there.

Re: New Sub Box
Sounds much better than my last box, that last one wasn't enclosed like this one is.

Re: New Sub Box
Your old setup looks very similar to my current one, however mine is a sealed enclosure. Personally, I like the looks of your previous setup, but since the current one is sealed, should do much better.

Re: New Sub Box
I redesigned after not being that happy with the first. It still needs carpet but I'm very happy with it this time.

Re: New Sub Box
I'm going to do just that, I just want to find a place to hide my amp as its just sitting in the bottom of the trunk. For the carpet I just need some good spray-on adhesive

Re: New Sub Box
WAY nicer, was the first box just a board that laid over the hatch area? You should spray that box down with bedliner in case you get water back there, plus it'll match the plastic trim it's mounted in.

Re: New Sub Box
First one was a box, just built it in a hurry, I missed my base after pulling my sub for autox on sunday. I didn't think about bedliner, thats a great idea and may do that.

Re: New Sub Box
The bedliner you get in cans from Wal Mart works great, it doesn't have a textured look to it unless you really want it to, it usually comes out pretty smooth and actually almost mimics the finish on the factory plastics. I've been using it non stop since I found some cans of white on sale for $5 a can.
