q forms

How is the build quality of q forms kick panels? ive heard that there flimsy
So does that mean the speakers compression could collapse them and how
are they for imaging?

Re: q forms

I have a set in my car. They aren't flimsy but I certainly think that with my capabilities I could probably build something better utilizing the stock kick panels. I've had them in my car for about 3 years now with some Alpine Type R 5.25 Components in them.

I totally agree. I have a set in my car also with MB Quart components. The only complaint I have with them is how far they protrude from the kick panel, since I drive a 5-speed, there is nowhere for my left foot to rest except almost up next to me.

I wouldn't recommend these to anyone driving a stick. It' hard not to graze them with your foot as you shift and eventually becomes uncomfortable.

Re: q forms

just buy some good quality speakers and hook em up to a amp. Mine are nice and loud and i will be putting 75w to them soon and make them even louder
Kick panels in a camaro just look bad and uncomfortable.

Re: q forms

yes the q-forms stick out and i do have a 5 speed but i molded a set to my factory kick panels and looks great. the sound quality is better than using the dash speakers. it puts the speakers at more equal length.iknow i have been in many competitions

Re: q forms

I had a pair and quickly did away with them because they made driving the car for long distances a real PITA. I built a set of door build outs and can't tell a difference in the imaging, there's only about 10in path length difference between the old Q logic kicks and the new door build outs.
