Stock Delco - speaker advice

Had the stock Delco fixed, weekend car. Radio, not worried about CD at this point. I got some dash 2 ways from my friend/mechanic. Plan on 3 ways for the rear (vert). Looking at speakers online, don't figure I need the 400 watt for the Delco. Looked at Blaupunkt 3 ways 120 vs 240 watts. Just want decent sound without pulling the guts out of anything, use existing wiring. Special instructions for a 3 way hookup? 120 vs 240 watt? Figured 240. Plan to modify the rear side panels to accomodate the speakers. Thanks for any help/suggestions. Did the search looking at the online speakers.

Re: Stock Delco - speaker advice

if its just the stock stereo and wiring in there i would do the 120's you can go 240's if you would like though. you defiantly won't blow the 120's with the stock unless your planning on turning it all the way up but i know i have still have the stock speakers in mine with an after market cd player and they sound awesome IMO.if your planning on hooking an amp up to the stereo speakers go 240's. Also all the 3 -way speakers i have ever bought are just a normal hook up nothing special

Thanks. Onlinecarstereo has 240s for $38, 120s for $35 - think I'll do the 240s. Stock speakers are toast. Was a desert car. Nice car, buy the way. Got any other pics?
