Opinions on whats better...
Need a bit of help on deciding what to go with... An amp and 2 10' subs... OR, an amp and 1 12'... Don't want anything too heavy but still would like a nice thump... also, the 12' might leave more trunk space... ANY suggestions?

Again, I've got one JL Audio 10W3v2 10" sub in a custom box in my well. Both voice coils are hooked up in parallel running off a bridged MTX TC3001 amp at a 1 ohm load. It hits as hard and clean as anything I have had in the past including two 12" JL Audio W0s running off an Autotek competition 44 amp at a 1 ohm load back in the day. I still cain't believe that 44 watt amp pushed the power it did bridged down. You could cook food on it lol.
Now I don't know if my new setup carries as far as previous ones but I grew out of that phase. I just wanted clean tight bass in my car. It's actually far louder than what I was aiming for. Tuning can go a loooooong way though if you know what you're doing.
And has been said, it all depends on what you like to listen to and the type of sound you want to have.
