my clarion DRX6675Z deck is no longer working properly. It is a fold down face, whenever i flip it down to change the cd, the power goes off, i cannot get my cd out of the deck. Any ideas as to what could be wrong and how to fix it?

 

I had the same problem with a pioneer I had. The one of the wires on the inside of the unit that moved when you moved the face up and down was the culprit. I had to take the unit apart and re solder the wire. Worked great after and hasn't failed me since.

 

Bad solder connection or bad ribbon cable. Being a Clarion it's probably the ribbon cable.
