Sub box Dimensions anyone?
Hey im getting ready to build my sub box for my hatch and was wondering if anyone had a complete plan on how to build it including all the parts i need...I checked out the sticky up top on this forum but realized that people were saying it didn't work.
If anyone has one please post it up!

I decided to go with a pre-fabricated one for $100.00 that fit perfect. i figured by the time I gathered the correct materials, marked it off, cut it, built it and covered it plus my time I would end up with near the same amount as buying one. So I took the quick, less stressfull route.
Good Luck!

Post number 26 in this thread contains a PDF of very detailed plans for building a box. All the supplies could probably be had for about $50.

With those prebuilt boxes, just remember you get what you pay for. There a lot of places they can cut corners with these boxes (wood quality, thickness, etc.)

I bought mine from Freemans Car Stereo in Gastonia, NC. It was built with heavy wood (what is used standard for boxes). It is a sealed box and the quality appeared to be very good. I don;t know how you value your time, but I value mine considerably. I figured about 5-6 hours to build it and saving $50 would not cover the fuel to round up materials along with the hassle and the mess.

I would have to agree with 2k if your just going to build a basic simple box...especially if you can see th equality of the box you are buying before you by it....
