so ive been tring to hook my ipod up to my head unit. its a clarion dxz725 and it has RCA jacks in the back. i dont really wanna spend 128 bucks on the clarion ipod adaptor so i bought a monster cable with rca jacks on one end and a headphone jack on the other. ther r 4 rca ports on the back of the head but the cable only has two. i get sound only with two of the rca jacks on the head unit. my problem is they only play through the rear speakers. does anyone kno of a way to make it play thru all 4. i tried adjusting the ipod and the head unit but i cant find anything. any help would b awesome cause im stuck.

You might try radio shack or online for 1 female/2 male RCA Y-adapters. You will need 2 of them, one per channel. You can order these at:

thanx for the info. i got it to work tho. turns out there were more jacks hiding back there. damn head has like 8 comin off it

First you need to know if they are ins or outs. Don't you have the owner's manual? If not did you try Clarions web page to down load one?
