Spray on sound deadener....
I was thinking about damping the door skin metal to get rid of some outside noise. With the door panel off, there isn't that much room to get at the whole door skin with regular dynamat so I was thinking about using some type of spray on sound deadener instead. Just wanted to see if there was anyone out there who has used some form of this, and can offer up any suggestions/brands. Thanks, Paul Moore

There isn't really a spray on deadener for say. There are however liquid ones. I'm using v3 myself. It's too thick to spray but a few people have thinned it down and shot it through a cheap primer style gun. Personally I don't see the point when you can paint it on with a paintbrush or even smear it around with your hands. Someone on here a while ago used spray on bed liner but I’m not sure how good that would perform or even function as compared to v3.

You can spray on spectrum with a spray gun and compressor. I have used spectrum before but I just used a paintbrush. It seemed to work pretty well. http://www.secondskinaudio.com/cgi-b....cgi?pg=2&p=ps

Check out that LizardSkin stuff they sell in summit. I believe it was TPI383 who was telling me it was awesome stuff. He saw it demo'ed at Sema this year.

He didn't see it at SEMA, it was RPI. Here is the link to the thread we were chatting in.
