Looking for way to fix dead channel (4 channel alpine)
I have an Alpine MRV-F307 Four channel amp. It was in the car when I bought it (the car). Channels 1,3,4 work fine, but 2 outputs nothing. THE DEAL is when I bridge 1 and 2, I get the bridged power. I'm figuring that channel 2 will work, but there is an RCA input issue. Anyone have experience or ideas to fix this, or should I trash it. THanks.

If it really is giving you the 'bridged power' the input stage should be working and the output stage must be working??? So...? When you have the output of #1 and #2 'bridged' and you unplug the #2 input does the sound change a little?

Does the 307 have the 2ch-4ch switch in the back? If so switch that back and forth a couple of times with just the #2 input and output connected to any thing. Do anything?

I didn't elaborate enough. My fault.
I have channels one and two bridged, and the Input Channel Selector is set to 1 (Options are 1, Stereo, or 1 + 2).
So the input of channel one is feeding channels one and two. My idea is since Channel two is amplifying the signal from channel one, there is a problem with the channel 2 input, which may be fixable.

Page 10 of the manual. Check switch #30 and #32 or set properly. #30 should be set to ST. Flip switch#19 back and forth a couple of times, see what happens. Other then that, you'll need a service manual, a DMM,O-scope, and trouble shooting knowledge.
