Where do i put dynamat on door ?urgent
so where do i put the sound deadener , do i put it on the back of the door panel , the outside of the door, i mean the door skin or do i put it on where the plastic used to be . ?I have the panel off right now and would like to finish it tongiht . so i have no clue where to put it on . Id like to be able to slam the doors and have them sound solid and not rattle when the bass is cranked .

I would suggest putting it on the inside skin of the door " that will cut down on road noise and a little bit of rattleing"
then put it on inbetween the door skin and the front metel. be carfule here because the door lock may not move properly if the sticky side of the dynamat is pressed against the rod when the panel goes back on. but after this youll have a solid door no rattles and no road noise. thats how i did mine.

um... when you take off the door skin the metel that your lookin at. put it on that metel cover up all the holes. just watch out for movieng parts. Now before you do that put some on the inside of the door skin too.
If i could find a pic of the door panel without the door skin i would photo shop it ... or wait just pm me and maybe i can figure out how to explain it properly!

The outer door skin is the part that resonates. The inner door structure is much stronger due to the stamping shape. You will need at least a couple layers on the outer door skin to help damp it. Some people also cover all of the holes on the inner door to help "seal" it up when they run drivers in the door.
