People have used it with good success, but you need to know what you're doing. Could be a problem in the doors: if you plug the bottoms it will fill with water, or it could interfere with the windows.

I just bought 1.5 rolls of the RAAMaudio BXT stuff. it cost me about $177 after shipping. one roll is 62 sq ft. so I hope that 90 sq ft will cover the floor and maybe the doors. I am only concerned about the floors right now becuz I already have my interior out to do my 6 pt roll bar install. if I dont get to the doors then I can save that for another weekend. Taking the door panels off isnt as bad as removing the carpets and stuff. i will post here on my installation results and hopefuly some pics to go with it.

I just visited my local Lowe's (Burbank, CA) and they do not carry Peel and Seal. They do, however, have a product that seems to fit the same description (though I was kind of expecting it to be thicker). The name escapes me at the moment. It's a ridiculously sticky asphalt-based substance, similar to B-quiet Extreme by the description they have on their website.
I was kind of wondering, if I get that and use it directly on the metal, then put a layer of padding/sound absorber on top, what type of padding should I use? Is home (foam) carpet padding just too heavy, or is there a safety reason associated with it (fire, etc)?

im pretty happy with the results of the raam mat. I got one roll for like 100 i think and its pretty good, i think i would need 2 or 3 to do th whole car. I did the gas tank back and doubled it all up and did both doors doubled up and i have like 15"x like 30 inches left . It didnt make a huge difference but it did make a difference and got rid of ratteling, so i could see how if i did the whole interior it would make a difference.

i doubled it up because it was shaking really badly on the rear and i thought it would help , well it didnt on the back because the bumper cover is rubbing on something . and i also kept the factory padding . I did the bottom part of the doors , but i also have crank windows so i can get to the front bottom part of the door. And i did some on the top and that got rid of the metal moving and making sounds.

I just grabbed a roll of RAAMmat for one of my cars, and I have Second Skin Spectrum Sludge for the other car. I'll update this when I get the results of how they compare.

I now have 75 sq. feet of Jiffy Seal, which I think I'll only use on the bottom of the car. I'll get a roll or two of RAAMmat to do the doors and roof, since I don't want anything melting downwards.
I also went to a local foam supply store and purchased some scrap rolls of closed-cell foam for $10 a roll. Each one is about 20-30 sq. ft, which makes them quite a bargain, and they can certainly take the temperatures.
