Need Help with calculations on ported box
I have a single 12" Solo barac square L5. I have a box made, but its sealed right now. I did have it vent ported, but i didnt get the tune set up right. In the manual its calling for a 33.5 fq tune on the port and 1.6 cu ft for the box. I have a box that is 41"x11.5x9.5x15x12.25
Umm heres the pic of what i did have, just no top now
i would like a ported set up, just because when i did have it kind of done right it sounded nice and resposive, just it had a flabby sound to it
centered sub with dual ports would be cool ^_^
If anyone can draw up something rough with dimentions to get this thing tuned right i would greatly appreciate it.

unless you plan to use 3 cu ft + of space porting that speaker really won't work. But for 1.6 cu ft and using dual 4" ports you would need both ports to be 37.25 " long. the total inside space needed would be 5135 cu inches or 2.97 cu ft. After figuring in the displacment of the driver and wood this would put you well over 3 cu ft and the driver would probably sound better in a bigger box then 1.6 cu ft.
