Sail Panel Speaker Well Depth
Does anyone know the depth of the sail panels, IE where the 6x9s go? I want to put some 8inch subs in there but need to know mounthing depth.

it's pretty deep. 6", 8", maybe more? I mounted a pair of very low quality 8s in the sails of my 86 firebird and had a mile of depth behind them.

Im looking at Kicker Comp C8's they are rated for free air so i thought they would be good to use in there and they don't have a whole lot of depth. Less the 4inches i think

You'll have plenty of room for those. Just make sure that you dynamat the crap out of the quarter panel and the panels in front of the spare tire area or they will rattle like crazy.
Also, don't expect much bass out of this. A free air application doesn't work all that well there because the back side is open to the interior through the spare tire area. They will work well for midbass, but not for sub bass.

Mid bass is the plan as they are far cheaper then so quoted Mid-Bass speakers like Kickers own RMB8's and 1/2 the price to boot, plus alot easier to get as more store stock them, oh yeah an only being rated at 100W RMS makes them alot easier to amp. Would something like this in free air need more Wattage though.

Their power rating has nothing to do with "how easy to amp" they are. Their sensitivity is far more important when determining whether you can get away with a low powered amp or not.
The other thing to consider is that a subwoofer may not do as good of a job with midbass as a dedicated midbass will. A sub is designed to play the lowest octaves, and some of the design work that makes a good sub can hurt that driver's midbass performance. A good midbass is likely to have a lower mass, less rigid cone that will provide better higher frequency transients without upper harmonic breakup. There are literally hundreds of 7" woofers available for less money that will probably give you better midbass performance. The Vifa PLs come to mind. They're around $40 each (give or take) and are available in 4 ohm versions. The new Adire Koda 8 is getting a very good reputation as a midbass also.
I'm not saying that the 8" kicker subs are necessarily bad... I don't know, I've never used them as midbasses. They may be fine. I'm just saying that if midbass is your goal, you may want to explore other options.

Largely i want something to fill in the gap between my 6.5in fronts and a pair of 15s out back. I actually don't have 15s as of yet but two 10in SVC Alpine Type-Rs( from 3 or 4 years back) They do good but are sounding more and more worn out from constant beatings of the JBL 1200.1 and summer heat. Also having had a 15 before i know they can't do what 8 or 10 can do for that nice tight punch, I guess i like know when one beat ends and another begins which is sometimes hard with just 15's, but little woofers just don't have the down low sound. So im trying to get a lil bit of everything in here. If you think something is wrong with how im thinking about this please enlighten me.:hail:

I don't think there's anything wrong with it as long as you have a dedicated amplifier and a band pass filter for the midbass drivers.
But like I said, you may find that other drivers will suit your needs better than those kickers. That's up to you to decide.
Another thing to consider would be simply to upgrade your 6.5s. There are a lot out there with a very solid midbass that will fill the gap... although if they are in kick panels the airspace limitations can cause problems with midbass response.

Yeah i have Rez8or kickpanels so not overly alot of space down there. However the Type-R Comps i have work nicely and have good mid bass punch. And all my speakers are run off an amplifiers i don't leave anything to deck power. The difference is amazing.
