2 amps 1 set of pre outs
hi am hooking up 2 amps but only have one set of pre outs on my head unit.I have done it before but i forgot how.I think i hook it up to the one that has a pass-thru connection.Then i hook up the other amps input to the pass-thru connection.Any help would be great

Well when I had the audio shop first do my subs (big mess) they hooked my 2 subwoofer amps up to my HU and it used a Y splitter. They ran the RCAs from the HU back to the subs then used 2 splitters so I could get the right and left connection to both amps.

You can use a Y-splitter like the one above, OR if one of your amps has a pass through, just run 1 set of RCA's to the amp that has the pass through, and the other set from the pass through jacks to the other amp
