Can a 2 Channel Amp Power 4 Speakers?
Please excuse this newbie question, but I was just wondering if you can use a 2 channel amp to power all four speakers, and if so, how do you recommend wiring it? I don't care about the ability to fade, so that's not an issue. Thanks.

yes it can be done quite easily, i'm running my 4 speakers plus one sub off my 4 channel, just make sure your amp is 2ohm stable if you are using 4ohm speakers, then just hook up your 2 +s for teh front speakers into one + on the amp, and the same with the negatives and rear speakers, you will lose the ablilty to fade tho

So if the amp has both R + and - and L +and -, fronts go to the left, and rears go to the right? Could I put front and rear right on the right and do the same with both lefts? Then in theory the balance should still work.
