Yamaha 6x9" any good? YCS-6921
I got a pair of Yamaha YCS-6921 6x9" speakers in a homemade box today for free on the side of the road. I drove by and said, what the hell
Thing is, they sound really nice! I've never heard of/seen Yamaha car speakers, but they look really well bulit.
They have paper cones, but the surround is like foam, but stiff so it won't deteriorate. They have some decent sized magnets on them as well. They also have separate tweeters.
So, is Yamaha a good brand? Or, should I say, was a good brand?

Why ask for other people's opinions when they haven't even heard the speakers but you have?
If you like the sound then use them.

let me rephrase.
Has anyone had a good experience with Yamaha car speakers?
Has anyone had a bad experience with Yamaha car speakers?
Does anyone know when they were made?
