1 - 10" Polk GNX... loud enough for my preference (I've grown out of annoying others 5 blocks away) and nothing special but, has the home stereo bass warmth I like and doesn't occupy alot of space...

spartyon- it wasn;t my choice for the carpet but itwas on the box when i bought it. although i blew the box part in 4 spots so i am going to make a new one. i am also puttin another box that goes al the way across infront of that amp with another amp liek that but smaller in there next spring. i think its gonan pound pretty good

Here's my box for my 12" Brahmas...

You will probably have to paste this link into the address bar.
It fits in the well, and is 1 cu ft of airspace for each sub.

Hey yall those are some badass speaker boxes. Hopefully when I get the dough I can have one built for me (Im not a very good carpenter).
Should I spend the extra money on fiberglass?
I only have a couple JL W6 8 inchers with a crossfile CFA-555

Pro-if your buying a already built mbf box makeing your own fiberglass one will be way cheaper. but makeing your own mdf one would be the cheapest but really not too much less then a fiberglass one. The reason i built a fiberglass one was i wanted 2 12s and still not have the box higher then the hump so i could still store my ttops and the fiberglass allows you more cubic volume. All bepends on what your planing on putting in there and if you care about taking up the whole truck.

I remember that amp! I loved mine... a Kenwood 600 629s or something like that right?
That was about 2 years ago... maybe 3 actually. 2 12" Wal*Mart Pioneers, ebay box, and that Kenwood amp. Sounded damn decent too. Ended up selling it to a guy for $300.
This is my kinda current setup. I had ported the box... and then unported it lol. I made that box out of 3/4" MDF from Home Depot in one day. Lots of wood screws and caulking! Sounds good, but I have to make a nice ported one soon. I need to get a new pic of the recovered box.

Im going to have a stereo shop build mine. Im in an apartment going to college so I dont have my tools or access to any. They dont charge too much anyway. I had them build one for my truck and its REALLY nice.
